While at KCON LA’19, I saw a small group of people giving away chocopies and cards. I also got some chocopies and a business card and learned a little about their e-business. They were from Cokoyam, a Korean food and products delivery service for college students and U.S. soldiers, who might have a hard time getting Korean products in their area. The business start because they wanted to help students and soldiers adapt easily and comfortably to their new environment and also provide their parents, who are worried about their child living in a new place, with some ease.
Their mission is also reflected in their name Cokoyam.

They are currently sell Korean food, snacks, supplements, and beauty products and plan to add activewear and dorm life essentials soon. The best thing about Cokoyam’s services? They provide free shipping!
When I was in college, there were two Asian food stores but they were hard to get to, had a very limited selection, and were extremely overpriced. I honestly wished this service was available when I was still in college but there are really days when you just miss Korean/Asian food!
